Our Rig

How do we live in a trailer you ask?

At 120 livable square feet (or 24 feet, as trailers are measured) our home on wheels is cozy and comfy, which is another way to say crimped and cramped, but nonetheless, we love it!  We purchased this trailer with one tiny baby and the plan to camp in it once a month.  We had no idea that 5 OF US would choose to LIVE in here.

Here is a tour:

The boys have quit rest time while Kate has a nap 10 feet away.

This is our dining room.
We eat, play, build, work, learn, and do laundry in this space.  The table turns into Nate's bed at night.

The boys play Memory at night.

We celebrate birthdays and anniversaries in our trailer.  The Easter Bunny even find his way in.

This is our kitchen.
Besides cooking, some of us even bathe here!

It is amazing that this kitchen with only 4 inhces of conterspace, puts out meals for 5.  We do have to use the floor to spearate clean and dirty when it is time to wash the dishes.

Jack reads Harry Potter on the sofa during the day.
This is our family room.

Many houses have "great rooms."  We have a great sofa.

That evening, the boys tackle their sleeping dad, who is recovering from a long hike.

The boys talk with our neighbors.
